The Arlington Catholic Herald reports that St. Leo the Great Church in Fairfax offered wooden crafts carved by the pastor, Fr. Juan A. Puigbó.
Other priests chipped in to create a cheery atmosphere, with Fr. Nicholas J. Schierer, parochial vicar, dressing up as St. Nicholas for the Christmas bazaar at St. Rita’s in Arlington.
Queen of the Apostles Church in Alexandria sold jewelry after each Mass on Dec. 8, while St. Agnes Church in Arlington offered a glamorous selection at their Christmas boutique, according to the Herald. A Dec. 7 Christmas market at Our Lady of Hope Church in Potomac Falls featured a live band, the article noted.
St. John the Beloved Church in McLean offered religious art and Christmas treats Nov. 23 at its 45th annual Christmas bazaar.
