Have you seen the NFL’s ads on voting?
They talk about how Americans show up to root for their team on Sunday.
But 1 in 3 eligible voters don’t show up on Election Day.
That’s embarrassing.
Here’s something even more scandalous: Christians are not much better!
A new study released this week found that millions of Christians say they’re not likely to vote in the upcoming presidential election.
According to the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University, just over half of interviewees (51%) in the study who identified as “people of faith” responded that they are likely to vote in the presidential election.
The study’s lead researcher, Dr. George Barna, said: “The 32 million Christians who regularly attend church services but are not likely to vote represent a far larger margin than the combined number of votes that decided the 2020 election in key battleground states.”
That’s an understatement!
If Trump had won an additional 44,000 votes in Georgia, Arizona, and Wisconsin, he would now be finishing up his second term in office!
HAVE YOU MADE A VOTING PLAN YET?
I can almost hear you asking me: But what about Catholics? And what about Catholics who actually go to Mass?
Our own research indicates that as many as 25% of Mass-attending Catholics do not regularly vote.
In other words, we’re just as bad as evangelical voters on this measure.
This means there are not thousands but millions of Mass-attending Catholics who might stay home and sit on the sidelines.
On every level imaginable, a Harris presidency would be a disaster. It’s not a matter of what she might do as president. It’s a matter of what her party machine is already doing.
As we speak, over 20 pro-life activists are political prisoners in federal cells. We have states already seizing custody of children from parents who won’t “trans” them. Nuns are (still) being forced to fight contraception and abortion mandates in court.
We are facing an inflection point.
And the Church is asleep.
BOTTOM LINE: We MUST wake the sleeping giant.
Christians must rise up. Because if this election goes the wrong way… in another four years the America we know will be gone.
The polls are already open in many states. Others offer absentee voting. PLEASE VOTE TODAY.
