CV NEWS FEED // The Napa Legal Institute will hold a summit for nonprofit organizations on July 24 in Napa, California.
The institute’s website states that the goal of the summit is to provide formation to Catholic apostolate leaders who lack professional experience in compliance regulations and legal developments. The event “will feature seminars on key nonprofit issues and practices, such as employment, fundraising, and religious freedom.”
The tentative schedule includes meals, four breakout sessions, and two masses. The summit will take place before Napa Institute’s Summer Conference.
Registration is $425 per person. Need-based scholarships are available, as are discounts for young adults and married couples. There are full scholarships for priests and religious.
Napa Legal Institute “provides corporate, tax, philanthropic, and other non-litigation legal and financial education to protect and advance the missions of faith-based nonprofits.” They are the sister organization of Napa Institute, a separate entity offering formation and community for Catholic leaders.
Napa Legal Institute is accepting sponsors for the summit.
