Election forecaster Nate Silver said that while polling gives the Democrats a 4 in 5 advantage in winning the House, he admits: “polls aren’t always right.” Democrats need to win 23 House seats to win the majority. “No one should be surprised if they only win 19 seats and no one should be surprised if they win 51 seats. ANTI-SEMITISM The person who wrote “Kill all Jews” in a Brooklyn synagogue was a canvasser for Barack Obama and an employee of former New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn. KAVANAUGH ACCUSER MADE UP CLAIMS Judy Monro-Leighton, who accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, admitted to congressional investigators that she made up her claims to “get attention.” Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley referred her to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution. “Ms. Munro-Leighton submitted a fabricated allegation, which diverted Committee resources. When questioned by Committee investigators she admitted it was false, a ‘ploy,’ and a ‘tactic,'” said Grassley. READ |
IMMIGRATION POLITICS The Democratic Party back in 2005 were evenly divided on immigration, with 45% saying it strengthened the country and 44% saying it weakened it. By 2017, 81% of Democrats said it strengthened the country, with 16% dissenting. Now it’s common for Democrats to favor driver’s licenses for immigrants in this country illegally. MORE TWEAKS TO HHS MANDATE The Trump administration is planning on issuing new modifications to the religious exemptions to mandatory employer coverage of contraception. This comes after a federal judge blocked the administration’s rules in December. READ |

MAN DISTURBS EWTN MASS A man caused a disturbance and tried to reach the altar during the consecration on the live 7 am televised Mass on EWTN.
