Junior Video Editor

YOUR ROLE: The Junior Video Editor is a paid position that will primarily support the EDIFY team by pulling clips of podcast episodes and videos to increase EDIFY’s broader audience on YouTube and social media. This position is an integral part of the CatholicVote team. This person will join a fast-paced team of people passionate about the mission of CatholicVote.

We are joined by many individuals of other faith traditions because the common good we seek is universal to all men and women of goodwill.


  • Review current and old EDIFY content (podcast episodes and videos)
  • Determine which parts of EDIFY content can be cut out as clips to perform well on YouTube and social media
  • Support the EDIFY team with other administrative tasks


In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Strong ability to identify cohesive and entertaining short clips from a long video or discussion
  • Ability to suggest strong options for titling videos in a compelling way that will lead people to click and watch
  • Experience with designing thumbnail images in Photoshop
  • The ideal candidate will commit to 15-20 hours per week


  • Work may be performed seated for long periods of time with close PC and keyboard work.
  • Normal office environment and noise levels. Average lift less than 10 lbs.
