Job Opening: Email Coordinator

YOUR ROLE: Advance the mission of CatholicVote (CV) by furthering our email marketing efforts! This position is instrumental to the ongoing success of CatholicVote and an integral part of our communications strategy. This candidate will join a fast-paced team of people passionate about the mission of CatholicVote.

The Email Coordinator will also expand the reach and engagement of CV’s audience by implementing all of our email campaigns to include data management, segmentation, customer journeys, and nurture campaigns. This position will be a part of the Marketing Services department.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Grow size and engagement of email list through prospecting and marketing campaigns with support of coworkers in the department
  • Send all mass emails for organization and optimize email performance through testing and segmentation
  • Maintain and monitor automated email journey and nurture campaigns to secure more subscribers, donors, and re-engage lapsed subscribers
  • Work closely with the Editor of the LOOP to optimize delivery of the product
  • Assist in resolving inboxing issues as they arise by working closely with email system provider
  • Maintain a clean database with frequent purging of dead or bot emails and ensure the accuracy of donor and subscriber tracking
  • Gather detailed requests for improvements or changes to the email system, and implement these changes as appropriate
  • Assist with email referral program including but not limited to: product choice and ordering, overseeing fulfillment process, set up digital assets needed for success, etc.
  • Work with the customer service team to respond to inquiries as they relate to email activities
  • Assist Webmaster in creating relevant landing pages for email campaigns as appropriate
  • Track and monitor donor conversion and retention rates

WHAT YOU NEED:

In addition to the above the ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Passion for the mission of CatholicVote
  • Experience in email and/or digital marketing
  • Comfort with technology and working with large amounts of data
  • Ability to manage time effectively, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Successful track record managing email marketing campaigns
  • Basic HTML knowledge is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Spanish-speaking ability preferred

PHYSICAL JOB CONDITIONS:

  • Work may be performed seated for long periods of time with close PC and keyboard work.
  • Normal office environment and noise levels. Average lift less than 10 lbs.

LOCATION:

The ability to work out of our office in Carmel, IN is a plus, though those working remotely are encouraged to apply.
